Though articles on medical education make up the bulk of the collection, there are also reprints of articles on the history of medicine, and obituaries and memorial statements for contemporary physicians and scientists.
History and Biography
Chair of the Dept. of Medicine at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and Director of the Medical Service, Presbyterian Hospital, 1921-1947. He died in 1950.

The articles were originally housed in 15 three-ring binders, given a single call number, and placed in Special Collections’ “M-Collection.” In 2011, they were rehoused in folders and boxes and treated as an archival collection. The original volume order was preserved during rehousing.
