(Trinity A.B 1854, A.M. 1857) Died at his residence, 282 Gates Avenue, Brooklyn, New York, at age 87. For over fifty years Bird had been a practicing physician in the Bedford section of Brooklyn and was one of the first attending physicians of St. John's Hospital in that borough. He was one of the oldest members of the Kings County Medical Society, and a member of De Witt Clinton Council, 419, Royal Arcanum.
