Trained in internal medicine at Hartford Hospital and in adolescent medicine at Children's Hospital in Boston, he spent a decade in general practice before switching to emergency medicine and joining the emergency room staff at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, Conn., where he remained for much of his career. Dr. Argall was a former instructor in community medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine.
