History and Biography
Patricia Jones, nurse and nursing educator, received a B.A. from Barnard College (1957), a B.S. in nursing from the Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University School of Nursing (now the Columbia University School of Nursing) in 1960, and a M.A. in education from Teachers College (1976). She worked as a nurse in University Hospital, Cleveland, and St. Luke’s Hospital, New York City, as well as being director of the professional seminars division of the American Journal of Nursing Company.

There are notebooks and syllabi on most of the subjects covered in the curriculum as well as bibliographies, case studies, class schedules, handouts, and forms. The papers also include Jones’ teaching plan for a course she taught to nursing aides in 1961.
