Letters received and notes relating to Link's research for his book, The Social Ideas of American Physicians (1776-1976): Studies of the Humanitarian Tradition in Medicine (1992). The letters are largely from historians and librarians responding to inquiries made by Link. In addition there is a table, presumably created by Link, entitled “A Geographical Distribution by State of the Physicians Who Served in Congress from 1789 to 1968.”
