The notebook (originally kept in a binder) is a collection of mimeographed lecture notes on a wide range of skin diseases delivered by about 25 different dermatologists. Some case reports are included.
History and Biography
Carl T. Nelson was chairman of the Columbia University Department of Dermatology from 1951 to 1973. He obtained his medical degree from Harvard in 1941 and became a member of the Columbia University faculty in 1946. He retired in 1973 and was named an emeritus professor the same year. Nelson died in New York City on March 16, 1978.
