Endocrinologist, died in New York City at age 59. He is known for his work in the use of radioisotopes in thyroid diseases, having established the Medical Physics Research Laboratory at Montefiore Hospital and its Endocrine Clinic in 1943. He was also consulting endocrinologist of Hillside Hospital, Glen Oaks, Queens, and had been consultant to the medical division of the Oak Ridge Institute of Nuclear Studies of the Atomic Energy Commission since 1950.
