Memo:
Retired clinical professor of radiology at St. Luke's-Roosevelt. Longtime deputy director of radiology and senior attending at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York, where she served a tenure as president of the hospital medical board, Dr. Kanick also officiated as president of the Physicians Relief Fund. She was particularly proud of her role in the development of angiography in the late 1950's and early 1960's. She served for a time on the Advisory Committee for Medical Devices at the Food and Drug Administration and as director of the New York State Radiology Society and the New York County Medical Society.
