A child psychiatrist. Practiced child psychiatry in Forest Hills, Elmhurst, and Lake Success, was also affiliated with Vanderbilt Clinic and Flushing Lincoln, Peninsula General, and Methodist hospitals, and was chief of child behavior clinics at St. Johns Hospital in Long Island City. Commissioned First Lieutenant in the medical corps in 1934 and was called to active duty at Fort Bragg in 1941, where he served until he returned to inactive duty in 1946 as lieutenant colonel.
