Died at age 87 at the Harkness Pavilion. Born in Ashland, New Hampshire on August 2, 1888. In 1928 he began the practice of surgery at the newly-opened Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. He started, built up and became head of the Division of Plastic Surgery at the Presbyterian Hospital and was a member of the faculty of the College of P&S, where he became Professor of Clinical Surgery. Dr. Webster carried on a distinguished plastic surgery training program for over 25 years, attracting men from all parts of the world.
